Call for better labelling on vegan and vegetarian products

The Vegan society is pushing for better labelling standards in Aotearoa with the rise in alternative products on the market. Currently manufacturers are able to use the terms vegan and vegetarian without any standards applying. Some of those products may still contain ingredients from animals.
