AAB 218 Kathy Parkes Breastfeeding Perspectives

Kathy Parkes is a registered nurse, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Fellow of the International Lactation Consultant Association, has a Masters in Nursing Education degree, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She has been an IBCLC since 1992 and has worked with mothers and babies in a wide variety of breastfeeding situations in both the hospital and in private practice. She is a certified Peer Counselor trainer for the Texas WIC department.
