March 2014 Highlights

This audio program reviews psychiatric symptoms in prion disease, emotion dysregulation in ADHD, the effects of fluoxetine on the serotonin transporter in juvenile monkeys, intensive and standard cognitive therapy for PTSD, and schema therapy for personality disorders. Additional studies look at predicting violence in prisoners with schizophrenia convicted of violent crimes, the use of electronic personal health records for patients with serious mental illness and comorbid medical conditions, and the effect on medical care for patients with the electronic records.
