93# Richie Cranny - Wimp 2 Warrior

Born in London in 1971 Richie grew up watching, training and teaching people how to fight.  He now lives on the Central Coast of NSW Australia with his wife Zoe and three children.  In his own words... I’ve held my 3rd Degree Black Belt in ProMai for over twelve years and consider myself and my art as one of the pioneers of MMA in the UK. ProMai MMA has been a fully integrated MMA style for over fifteen years. My passion is now coaching and exposing people to MMA. I sustained a serious back injury in 2004 which prevented me from ever competing again so I’ve since put my heart and all my energy into teaching the technical side of MMA . After spending over a decade as a professional MMA coach I looked for a better way to help expose the sport I love so much into, not only a mainstream fan base but ultimately for demonstrating that MMA can be enjoyed by anyone. I started Wimp2Warrior in 2012, a series devoted to changing people’s lives for the better over a twenty week intensive training camp, where the successful contestants square off against each other in a finale in front of all their friends and family. It’s truly an amazing program that I’m very proud to be a part of.  Series 1 became a global success, series 2 grew massively and now the upcoming series 3 will be the platform that fills MMA gyms around the world!
