He’s the only guy to be selected for both the bodybuilding hall of fame and the martial arts hall of fame. Mike holds 4 Natural Mr. Universe titles and was voted one of the 12 greatest physiques of all time by the fitness industry. So most of us spent our childhood watching super hero cartoons on Saturday mornings in our Superman pajamas eating a big bowl of cereal. Yet you decided to not only play the role of a super hero on American Gladiators but live the life as a super hero 24/7/365. What got you started on your fitness journey? “10 kids growing up 5 boys 5 girls. I was the youngest. My sister won Ms. Seattle. Other one won Washington State Karate championships. For me, it is start with exercise then be non-location based.” “My show Awaken Your Alpha is about bringing on the world’s biggest Alphas.” “It all comes back to being authentic and being yourself. If you are going into a business that is not your true passion, you are going to be in a place you are not happy.” “When it comes to finding your own magic, what are you good at, what do you love doing, and what do you get phenomenal results doing? I believe everyone is phenomenal at something. Delegate the stuff you are competent at to someone else.” “For $100 a week, you can get a virtual assistant to take care of things you are not phenomenal doing.” “What gets you up in the morning to pursue your dreams. For people with family, this is easy. The reason is to provide a better life for your family. But no matter what hurdle gets in your way, if $ is your only why you may stop.
