AnchorMOMS: The Podcast, Episode 58

Boo!  Actually, parents and kids alike are saying boo-hoo this Halloween because there’s nothing like a pandemic to put a real scare into this year’s festivities.  With the holiday all but canceled in 2020, the Anchormoms bemoan Halloweens of yesteryear.  What to do instead?  Is it safe to even consider Trick-or-Treating?  The moms weigh the risk.  Also, date night?  Is that still a thing as Covid rages?  One mom argues there is something better than time with your spouse:  time with yourself.  The ladies take on how, even during a pandemic, alone time is like a mythical idea that doesn’t really exist…unless you’re a man (than it does, obviously).   Lastly, parenting advice from a non-parent?  No sirree.  This really does happen apparently.  A non-parent tweets her opinion about kids’ menus and the lack of variety and the Internet goes wild.  When and why you should offer advice as a parent.  But if it’s not solicited, the moms all agree: just don’t.  Find us on Apple Podcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts.
