Neither was everyone extrapolating what it meant about the College Football Playoff selection committee's decision. On Friday night in Arlington, Ohio State had a miserable night against Missouri. After losing QB Devin Brown early, the Buckeyes couldn't sniff the end zone. Meanwhile, the Tigers kept pounding and capped a special year with a huge win. In Atlanta, Ole Miss torched a shorthanded Penn State defense. The Rebels grabbed win No. 11, and they've set up an offseason where we'll assume they're a College Football Playoff team.
