Elena is an activist and a leader of the coca leaf farmers’ union (ADEPCOCA). On March 4, 2020, she was arrested by Bolivia's fascist government on false charges of robbery and destroying public property. In reality, she is being politically persecuted for protesting the violent regime. Pambana and Anayansi, who recently visited Bolivia, share their thoughts on Elena's persecution.
