Aotearoa Adventures: The New Zealand Travel Podcast - Podcast tekijän mukaan Abigail Hannah - Perjantaisin

Tanya set out on a unique 500 km journey, traversing the South Island from coast to coast along the following the circle of latitude that is 45 degrees south of the equator, from Caswell Sound in Fiordland to Oamaru. On the expedition, she hiked across mountain ranges, climbed up waterfalls, kayaked over lakes and cycled through historic Otago over eleven to sixteen hour days. As an ultra-marathon runner, this multi-sport expedition was a new and challenging experience for Tanya, she shares the highs, lows and mindset lessons that she learnt along the way. Next, she hopes to finish the land-based section of the 45th parallel traverse through Chile and Argentina. Tanya's advice to someone wanting to start something new is, "just do the thing," and don't be afraid to ask others for help. Thank you so much for tuning in and coming along for the ride.
