Seasons of Service with Karen Acerson

Karen Cozzens Acerson was born and raised in Moab, Utah, where she was taught how to navigate life by her two wonderful hard-working parents. Due to her outstanding service in the community, Karen received an honorary doctorate from Utah Valley University in 2022, where she served on the board of trustees for over a decade. Karen was one of the original organizers of The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival.  Karen authored five books, including WordPerfect: The Complete Reference, a New York Times best-seller. She worked as head of customer support at WordPerfect for many years. She is an internationally recognized expert in word processing and skill-building techniques. Karen and her husband Jeff, served as mission leaders in the Italy Rome Mission from 2007-2010. In this episode, Karen shares experiences connected to the Rome Temple, and missionary work in Italy. Karen and Jeff now serve together at the Provo Missionary Training Center where Karen is a branch missionary.
