AALP 120 – Breaking Free of Scarcity Beliefs

Art of Abundance with Leisa Peterson - Podcast tekijän mukaan Leisa Peterson

Ever had the thought that you cannot make money following your passion?  Of perhaps you are an artist or creative person who subscribes to the belief that most artists struggle financially.  I’ve found this belief to be quite common — not just for creatives but for those of us who are bringing our spiritual discoveries into the world.    The good news is that none of those beliefs are really true — there are plenty of people who thrive financially when following their passion.  However, if you retain beliefs that keep you thinking about the struggle, it becomes difficult to break through to the success you know in your heart you are destined to fulfill.  Today’s conversation brings you into my world of helping people break free of their limiting beliefs especially when it comes to financial and business topics.   I’ll start by saying that this conversation did NOT work out as I planned.  We ended up recovering and releasing limiting beliefs that were so deeply personal I realized it would be too much to share the full conversation as part of the podcast.  So instead of airing it I sat with it for a few months.  My guest Ellen would check in from time to time to encourage me to share it with you because of how much it had helped her and I told her I would hold the space for what felt right in time.  Recently it became clear to have her back on the show to fill in the pieces of what happened after the session so I could create a before and after transformation experience for listeners. Often times we think our beliefs are fairly straightforward — that if we believe artists are going to struggle financially then all we have to do is figure out where that belief came from.  Instead what happens is the creation of the belief comes as a result of a convoluted series of events that we make meaning out of.  Getting to the root of the belief is where things get quite magical.  Most of the time is it like a scavenger hunt and you aren’t quite sure how the pieces connect to one another.  This is where having the ability to surrender to your inner guidance takes over.  I am fortunate to receive this guidance in the form of pictures (clairvoyance), sounds (clairaudience) and sensations (clairsentience) — all of what combine to bring myself and my clients on a journey of discovery.  Once the root of the belief is found then we can go about clearing that energy through understanding, compassion, allowance and connection to a higher power.   I would love to hear your comments and feedback to see if you’d like me to share more of these conversations in the future.  While this edited version is far from perfect, I trust there will be good things that come by our sharing. Big Hugs, Leisa
