Dragon has been busy preparing some paintings to share with the animals and now it's time for the party! What will the forest friends think of the art? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Dragon's Tale” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:23 The Dragon's Tale Excerpt: The happy dragon had been busy getting ready for the forest animals to visit all day.  Today the dragon was going to share what the other lands were like.  The dragon wondered what the animals would think.  Would they understand all the wondrous things the dragon had seen and done?  Feeling excited, the dragon took a deep breath in and out wanting to feel nice and calm when the animals arrived.   Sachi the snake arrived first, slithering into the cave to save Tad the toad a spot where he could see.  Tad, and Tanner the toads followed, hop, hop, hopping in. Carrie the cardinal and Odin the owl flittered into the cave and settled on a perch the caring dragon had made, so that the birds had a place to rest.  The happy dragon watched as the entrance to the cave filled with all the dragon’s forest friends.  Bobby and Babette Bunny hopped in to find a spot, as Nutsy and Peanut the squirrels scampered in. Their mouths filled with nuts to snack on.  Freddie frog hopped along just ahead of George the turtle. Once George had settled in, then the guests were all there. A hum filled the air as all the animals began to talk. They felt eager to hear about the new lands the dragon had been exploring, and began sharing their guesses on what was about to happen.    The dragon smiled, and waited for the animals to settle back down.  Ready to show the animals what could be found in the other lands, the dragon had areas set up in the cave. The dragon waved the animals over to the first area. They saw paintings showing a land with sand and waves.  Another painting showed Benji the bucket and Paula the blue penguin next to a sand castle.  The animals moved along to the next area, and saw more paintings.  This time they showed ice, snow, and the sea.  Another painting showed Beau the beluga whale and Princely the penguin splashing into the cool sea.  Then the animals moved to the third area.  There were paintings of trees, grasses and pools of water. Another painting showed Henrietta the hippopotamus blowing bubbles next to Oliver the elephant showering her with water from his trunk. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.
