Ballet Bunny thumps her foot at the Spring storm to warn her friends and scare away the thunder. Will it work? Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Brave Bunny” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 8:30 Brave Bunny Excerpt: Dark clouds filled the sky and wind twisted the branches of the trees. Rain drip-dropped through the forest branches and splashed the little bunny. Ballet shook and the water droplets flew off in all directions. She hurriedly hopped next to a tree and checked to see where her friends were. Carrie the Cardinal sat in the branch above her watching the sky. The squirrels, Nutsy and Peanut, were busy in the branches above tossing an acorn back and forth. The acorn flew over Nutsy’s head and then tumbled down below landing right in front of the little bunny. Ballet smiled up at her friends. And nudged the acorn out where they could see it. Peanut scampered down the tree to retrieve the acorn when a deep rumble filled the air growing louder and louder until the sound shook the trees branches. Ballet frowned and looked up at the sky, defiantly thumping her foot three times. The little bunny was telling the thunder to go away and also warning her friends of the oncoming storm. Peanut wasted no time gathering the acorn and heading for the cozy pine tree. Nutsy zipped past Ballet and Carrie flew over, singing that Ballet should come with.
