Dragon plays in the mud on the way to visit Terry and Charlie Truck. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Puddle Stomp” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Story Begins: 10:12 The Puddle Stomp Excerpt: Light sparkled through the trees as the sun slowly climbed above the enchanted forest. A sunbeam slowly flowed into the dragon’s cave until it reached the dragon asleep on its mossy bed.  The dragon blinked and opened its eyes. It was time to get up! With a stretch the dragon rolled off its bed.  Bright sunlight filled the cave’s entrance and the dragon could feel it was a beautiful morning.  A walk through the woods would be wonderful.  The dragon stepped outside and looked at the trees.  Light green buds and even leaves had formed.  Then the dragon stopped and took a deep dragon breath in and out smelling the air.  A song danced into the dragon’s ear and the dragon smiled. Gerry robin had returned.  It really was Spring! The dragon relaxed and listened to the birds singing, the brook trickling, and in the distance the dragon heard a familiar rumbling sound.   The rumbling sound grew louder as the dragon approached the edge of the woods. Just as the dragon thought, there were two trucks driving carefully on a wide path at the edge of the forest.  As the dragon watched water sprayed up on both sides of the trucks as they drove through deep puddles left by the melting snow and the spring rain. Mud coated the sides of the two trucks, but the dragon knew it was Charlie and Terry.  The two trucks found a dry patch of land and stopped so that their drivers could get out and have breakfast.  Now that the people had moved away it would be a good time to visit the trucks.
