612: Hair Power!: a mindful kids’ story

Callie meets her new friend Anora and the other kids to learn about how their hair makes them all unique. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 4:38 Hair Power! Excerpt: It was a beautiful afternoon on Ahway Island. The sun was shining brightly in the sky. Squirrels were happily running around Callie Kim's neighborhood, and birds chirped in the trees. Callie and the Kim family had moved to Ahway Island not that long ago, and Callie loved her new neighborhood.   This afternoon, Callie sat on the living room couch. Gazing through the big living room window, Callie watched the squirrels at play as she waited for her mom to finish getting ready to leave. This afternoon was going to be exciting. Callie's mom was taking Callie to the park to play with Anora Lewis. Callie remembered that Anora was the first person to say "Hello!" to the Kim family when they moved to Ahway Island. Anora had seemed very kind, and Callie felt happy to have met someone nice so soon after moving into her new home.
