Perry Platypus doesn't want to be called "Perry" anymore. Can his friends help him find the perfect name? Narrator: Female Story Begins: 4:06 Introducing Payton Platypus Excerpt: It was a wet day on Ahway Island. At the Ahway Island Animal Sanctuary, trees were blowing in the rain-splattered wind. Drops of water dripped onto Perry Platypus' log as he sat inside, patiently waiting for the rain to stop. Putting his face near the opening of his log, he looked at his reflection in the puddle on the ground outside his log, thinking and wondering, and trying to figure out a solution to his problem.   Just then, Perry heard a voice call from outside his log, “Hi there, Perry!” Perry recognized the voice.   “Oh, hello, Willy,” Perry said.   Willy Worm gently wiggled into Perry’s log from the dirt outside. Willy was a funny little worm. He usually kept to himself, hiding in the dirt during the daylight hours. But whenever it was raining, Willy was more than happy to come out and visit. One of his favorite places to go was Perry’s log. The two friends talked for hours on rainy days. For his part, Perry was happy he had a friend like Willy. Perry often felt shy around the other animals, but never around Willy. Willy was just that kind of worm – supportive and non-judgmental.
