81: Small town, big business with Amanda Aleem of Le Chic Skin & Beauty

After walking out of the treatment room as a therapist only to notice her name and coloumn had been cancelled from the computer system by the business owner because she was pregnant, Amanda started a home business which took off in no time. At 32 weeks pregnant with her second child, Amanda made the move from home business into bricks and mortar store and started hiring a team of therapists to support the expansion. Known now as Le Chic skin & beauty, Amanda and the team are regular nominees at the Australian Beauty Industry Awards, as well as being up for nominations at their local business awards where amanda was a finalist for the Ballarat young business person of the year in 2019.
