Dr Vibeke Manniche is a danish MD, Phd (within social medicine), author of 35 books mainly about children, family, sleep, and medicine and as a result is a very well known public figure in Denmark. Vibeke has been working with epidemiology in some way or another for most of her 34 years as a doctor. Both concerning rare diseases and public health. During the so called Covid Pandemic, she was the only danish doctor who from the very beginning spoke out against lockdowns and highlighted the lack of proportionality. Vibeke was vocal about the severe consequences that would arise with lockdowns. According to her "the numbers and science never allowed lockdowns - but fearmongering did". Although she has been a danish public figures for more than 30 years, this changed after March 2020 when she was heavily censored by the danish press.
