Effect of adjunctive vitamin C, glucocorticoids, and vitamin B1 on longer-term mortality in adults with sepsis or septic shock

Metabolic resuscitation is an adjunctive therapy for sepsis and septic shock, which consists of a combination of vitamin C, glucocorticoids, and vitamin B1 or their components. Recently, there has been considerable interest in this treatment. However, due to the wide range of combinations of its components, there is no evidence for the effectiveness of this therapy.To fill this gap, a network meta-analysis (NMA) and component NMA was conducted.
