It was in 2015 when Daniel Oliver competed as part of the group CADEM with the song "Fly" reaching 6th place in the National Final of Söngvakeppnin  in Iceland. The winner in 2015 and Iceland's Eurovision representative was Maria Olafs with the song "Unbroken". Then in 2019 Daniel Oliver has competet in his national Final with the song "Samt ekki" unfortunately not advancing from Semi Final 1 to the Final of Söngvakeppnin 2019. The Winner of which was Hatari with "Hatrið mun sigra".   The Interview Team of Radio International is extremely happy to welcome Iceland's Daniel Oliver to the show for the Interview Hour chatting about his musical career and more.
