Trusts (TOLATA)

This is the first in a series of episodes discussing Trusts.  Melanie is joined by Max Turnell, a family law barrister at 1 Kings Bench Walk in London. Max’s work includes divorce, financial remedies, disputes between unmarried couples, private and international children cases and jurisdiction disputes. He is a co-author of 1KBW on Trusts in Matrimonial Finance Proceedings and a contributor to Jackson’s Matrimonial Finance 10th Edition (with responsibility for the TOLATA chapter). In a previous life, Max held visiting lectureships in Contract Law and the Law of Trusts at King’s College London. In this first episode Max will be explaining to Melanie why she shouldn't be afraid of TOLATA claims.
