In this in-vitro study, researchers demonstrate that a cardiac tissue infected with SARS-COV-2 can contain the viral genome for days after infection. The researchers recommend that clinicians look for the presence of the virus, or its genome, or cardiac troponin levels, to monitor at risk hearts. Let's review.
