Welcome Graham fam! We are so glad you could watch Sunday morning online with us. Gifts of Christmas – 5 – The Gift of Light Introduction:Christmas is over. The great build up of the special day has come and gone. Now it’s three months of the cold, of the rain, and the wind until spring gives us a little relief. But thankfully we have the wonderful gifts of Christ to carry us through the coldest and darkest times. Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love are all gifts that we have talked about so far. But there is one more gift that comes with receiving the gift of Christ. It is the gift of Light! Light is a wonderful thing. Nothing is more valuable than light when its dark. Nothing is as relieving as being able to see when you spend any amount of time not being able to see! That’s exactly what Christ does for us. He is the light, and he opens up our eyes helping us to see. And the light he shines in our life is so powerful it reveals how blinded we were before we put our trust and faith in him! Scripture:– John 1:1-5, 9-14 Points:1. Jesus came to give us light!– Matthew 4:162. The light of Christ is the most powerful light that exists!– Revelation 21:22-233. We are called to receive the gift of light and give it to others!– Matthew 5:164. The light will reveal all things!– Luke 12:2-3 Ending:As we close up today, I hope and pray that you have the light of Christ shining in you and through you!
