Welcome Graham fam! We are so glad you could watch Sunday morning online with us. Restoration – 4 – It’s a Process Introduction:As we finish up our Restoration Series our final sermon is about the process. Restoring something is an incredible, intricate, and meticulous process! You cannot just dive into something without a plan of how you are going to complete the task at hand. I remember when we gutted our house, and everything was exposed. Before we could get our trusses set, our walls had to pass an inspection with the contractor we had hired to set the trusses. Some of our walls were damaged, there were termite damage in places, there was water damage in places, there were some broken studs, etc. I had to go around and fix all of that before he would set the trusses. That was very frustrating because I wanted those trusses on so that the weather would stop ruining what was good. But there was a process. Once the trusses and roof was on, it would be much more difficult to fix walls afterwards than it is before. There is a reason that the restoration of your life is a process. We need to trust that process, welcome the process, and experience the wonderful benefits of that process for ourselves. Scripture:– Ephesians 1:3-8 (Paul talking about Spiritual Maturity)– Ephesians 1:13– Ephesians 1:16-18 (Spiritual Wisdom) Points:1. God’s plan of restoration pre-dates the world!– John 17:242. All restoration in some way is spiritually rooted and related!– Psalm 71:20-213. A big part of the restoration process is spiritual maturity!– Hebrews 6:1-3– Ephesians 4:13-15 (Paul about unity and maturity) Ending:The great thing is that the work is never done! God growing and maturing us is an ongoing process! That shouldn’t intimidate us but that should be exciting to know that as long as we breath and exist in this world God has a plan, a purpose, and he is still not finished with you! – Philippians 1:6 If you would like to watch our past services, you can do so here: https://www.gcwesleyan.org/teaching/ Like and subscribe to our new YouTube channel, Graham Chapel Youth!
