Welcome Graham fam! We are so glad you could watch Sunday morning online with us. The Bride – 1 – Significance of the Bride Introduction: Alright, we are starting our new series on the Bride and today we are talking about the significance of the Bride. Now if you are wondering who or what the Bride is, I want to let you know that the church is the Bride. That means that you are the Bride of Christ! And that is a very amazing, special and intimate thing to consider. Scripture: – Revelation 19:7-9 Points: 1. Jesus came to build the Church! – Matthew 16:16-18 – Acts 2:44-47 2. We are just a part of the Bride! – John 3:27-30 (John the Baptist’s Disciples mad that people are going to Jesus!) – Ephesians 4:16 3. We have a responsibility to keep the Bride pure! – 2 Corinthians 11:2-3 (Paul talking about not accepting false teachings) – Romans 14:12-13 – I Corinthians 1:10 – I Corinthians 5:3-5 Ending: I hope and pray that you will take a new look on what it means to be a part of the Bride of Christ. You are special! We are Special. All churches are special. We are the Bride. Jesus gave his life for this. Don’t waste it!
