J Michael Bailey authored the seminal The Man Who Would Be Queen, which attempted to bring to a mainstream audience Blachard’s “Two Types” of male transsexuality: effeminate homosexuals, and autogynephiles, men sexually aroused at the idea of themselves as women. Is autogynephilia (AGP) a sexuality, a paraphilia, or both? Is male bisexuality linked to AGP? How common is AGP?
