My husband and I started listening to Trip to the Cottage's back catalog (from Radio Kerry) way back in March 2020 but it went off the air and they recently seem to have taken down all the old episodes, alas! So we needed a new Celtic music fix for our nightly Guinness by the fire! :) This is a great show. Thanks for making it, and I am so pumped there are over 500 episodes to go back to as a new listener! On a side note, I am a fiddler/songwriter and I have done some live-looped renditions of traditional Celtic tunes like The Parting Glass, Swallowtail Jig, Rites of Man, and others. Take care and keep up the great work! Truly" Find her music on bandcamp or her website and here is her website. Peter Bengtson emailed a photo: "Hi Mark, I did go on Podcast Awards and voted for the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast for the 2 categories you mentioned. I covered 5.35 miles, gained only 162 feet elevation gain (pretty flat). It took me 2 hours. I had given up on finding something interesting to photograph. Then I found:" Woodland Folk sent a bunch of pictures over the past month. I’m gonna include many of them in the shownotes and wrote: “A calming, summer hour of Voices and melody...Thank u”
