Stop Stressing, Follow Your Heart, Live the Good Life...Because God Says So (Ecc.11:7-10)

Yesterday, as I was enjoying a long walk, I noticed the unmistakable sounds of elementary school recess activity. Young children were shouting, laughing, arguing, and playing as kids do when turned loose in the outdoors. While they were still in view, an elderly man, supported by a walker and the steadying hand of (presumably) his wife, moved slowly down the trail toward me. I couldn't miss the juxtaposition of this young group at the dawn of life and this man nearing the end. I wondered what advice the old man would have for the youngsters if he could speak to them.   In today's study, we will hear the counsel of old, wise King Solomon to the youth of his day. It seems to be a little different from what most Christians would say these days.
