it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later

After so much consideration over the past few months, I’ve made the really tough decision to let go of my space in the podcasting world with Miss Congeniality. Last year after IDKINT came out, I anticipated that after my book tour I’d have much more time to focus on projects other than IDKINT—but along came DAEFTW, a new project for IDKINT and an inbound of other opportunities. I am so privileged and grateful to be in the position where I love SO MANY of the projects I’m working on and my issue is there are simply too many. I have grown consistently more overwhelmed and overextended and I knew it was time to place something in the backseat to help preserve my energy and maintain focus. I initially felt deeply guilty, and as though I failed my community in making this choice. But I know at the end of the day this is what will be best for all of us—and it is the mature decision to step down from one project in order to show up as my best self for others. I love you guys so much and can’t thank you enough for all the love and support you’ve shown me via this project ❤️ til next time 🫶🏻
