So, does the same apply for this year? Phil asks Gemma Dale, Director of SMSF and Investor Behaviour at nabtrade, who says 2023 wasn’t too bad when you factor in dividends. But 2024 could be better. Rates are coming down at some point, bond yields are falling and, you’d hope, the consumer will have more cash to spend.
