Isaiah brings us the good news of a child born with the government on his shoulders. This child is Jesus Christ, the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Through His birth and death on the cross, we experience His Kingdom now (on earth), and we will experience His Kingdom to come (in the new heaven and earth).
