17 - Fossil Fuel Exposure through Real estate 🛢➡️ 🏙

One-third of global energy consumption is used by the real estate sector, one of the highest 📈  Greenhouse Gas emitters. Because fossil fuels are still a large part of the energy mix of real estate, it is still considered energy inefficient. 👎  But why is it necessary to regulate these companies in real estate that are involved in the extraction, storage, transport or manufacture of fossil fuels? 🤔
