RANDALL WALLACE | Becoming Braveheart

Order of Man - Podcast tekijän mukaan Ryan Michler

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you are well aware that my favorite movie of all-time is Braveheart. So, when I had the chance to have a conversation with the man who wrote the movie, Randall Wallace, I jumped on it. Today, Randall and I talk about the timeless messages for men found in the movie, how and what sacrifices must be made to achieve our goals, how to qualify other men who can serve as your band of brothers, discovering something that calls deeply to you, and ultimately, how we too can live our lives with the courage and bravery conveyed in the life of William Wallace and Braveheart. You may not recognize his name but I guarantee you that you are deeply familiar with his work. Randall is a screenwriter, director, producer, New York Times Bestselling Author, and songwriter. He wrote Braveheart, Man in the Iron Mask, Pearl Harbor, and We Were Soldiers among many other incredible motion pictures, many of which he produced and directed and has won several Academy Awards. He is an insanely talented individual – far beyond what I knew when we agreed to do a podcast together – and he is deeply reflective and insightful around the subject of men and masculinity. You guys are going to really enjoy this conversation. It was incredibly powerful and inspiring for me. IRON COUNCIL Gentlemen, very quickly, I wanted to introduce you to the Iron Council if you’re not already familiar. Randall and I have talked a bit about in this conversation the power of brotherhood and finding other men who are qualified to be in your corner. Unfortunately, it seems to be increasingly difficult to find those types of men and develop powerful bonds that will help both of you succeed. That’s where the Iron Council comes into play. Inside the Iron Council, there are over 800 men who are all like-minded and working towards the same goals and objectives. These are incredibly motivated and ambitious men and they have not only the desire to succeed but to help all the men inside the Iron Council do the same.
