(unlocked from Patreon) Today I'm joined by a special guest, the great Keith Allen Dennis, to continue our discussion about Ryōichi Sasakawa, the world's richest fascist. In this episode, we cover the Liberal Democratic Party, the Three Amigos (Kodama, Sasakawa, and Kishi), the 1955 system, and Sasakawa's ultranationalist ties. We cover Sasakawa's life from the 1950s on through into the 1990s.  This includes his interactions with the Moonies and other cults like waterology, recovering looted war gold, open-air brothels, karate, and the repair of Sasakawa's reputation, such as it is. We go over the "plata o plomo" approach to Sasakawa's reputation laundering, including the long list of casualties of Sasakawa's critics, and ask the question "how much money do you have to give to become a good person?" Finally, Keith Allen Dennis leaves us with a good old fashioned ghost story.
