The Purpose Made Podcast - Podcast tekijän mukaan Purpose Made

Guy Schanschieff MBE, went from being an accountant in training at KPMG to travelling the world with his wife Jo, where a chance meeting in India, would result in the pair returning to the UK in the early 90s, to co-found the multi-million pound business Bambino Mio we see today. But Bambino Mio’s journey is much more than the luck of a chance meeting, it is a story of courage and of determination and a mission to make sure that every parent and child have access to stylish and affordable reusable baby products, within global markets demanding meaning above margin. It’s also the story of how activating a brands purpose, can inspire conscious consumer driven movements which lead to transformation and growth for companies both inside and out.By activating their brand purpose, Bambino Mio haven’t just witnessed rapid growth, they’ve also won the Queens award for International Trade, an MBE for Guy and ‘Best in Brand Purpose’ at the recent Drum Awards. Chatting to Guy was awesome, and what is true from our conversation, is the future of business and brand hinges upon understanding purpose as something far greater than a do gooder exercise. Activating brand purpose is much more meaningful to what a company stands for and believes in, and it’s up to leaders, to activate their brand purpose into narratives that inspire consumer driven movements like Bambino Mio. So without further ado, please sit back, relax and we do hope you enjoy!!Links:https://www.bambinomio.comhttps://www.thedrum.com/news/2021/12/08/baby-steps-bambino-mio-guiding-all-parents-towards-changing-nappies-good https://www.bgf.co.uk/worlds-leading-reusable-nappy-brand-bambino-mio-announces-13m-investment-from-bgf/  https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/green-nappy-maker-sells-13m-stake-ps2gfw9bd https://www.purposemade.uk  Join our tribe and lets grow together https://plus.acast.com/s/purpose-made-podcast.
