US says Iran nuclear program 'devastated' following strikes

United States Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has provided further detail on the US attack on Iran over the weekend.  According to Mr Hegseth, the Trump Administration "devastated the Iranian nuclear program" but noted, "the operation did not target Iranian troops, or the Iranian people."  Meanwhile, Iran's Supreme National Security Council is considering whether to close the Strait of Hormuz in response to the US' bombing raids on its nuclear program, according to Iran's Press TV.
