In this chapter the Stuffed Elephant gets free from the rope that has caught him up in the barn and plays with the children and other toys. Things go back to a normal routine until one day Archie and his sister Elsie go to the barn again to play. This time they decide to play with the wooden chute that lets the oats come down for the top of the barn. Archie has done this many times before with no problems but this time something else is going to happen.
