Eps 151: Silence is not Phenomenal; Guest, Andō

Spark My Muse - Podcast tekijän mukaan Lisa Colón DeLay - Keskiviikkoisin

My guest today is acquainted with the noises of the forrest and the abiding ways of interior silence. Living for some years in relative solitude and silence, non conceptual poetry began to serve as a spiritual practice for Andō. It is contemplative in sentiment and reflects similarities to short works and haiku of Zen poets like Sōgi, Matsuo Bashō, and Kobayashi Issa. Andō's voice and manner are soporific. You might want to use caution when operating heavy machinery or driving, as this episode may soothe you to sleep (in the best sort of way), especially if you are already tired. If you have the ears to hear, this can be your encouragement or entrée into attuning at a resonance where we may begin to not only notice silence, but become it. Listen in as Andō explains some of what her live is like and her transformation as well has reads from what has come from the silence and brings us back to it. PART 2 of our conversation continues with much richness at patreon.com/sparkmymuse - Eps 151 Andō PART 2 - [ Direct link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/25128836 ] It is FREE and open to the Public- It includes the story of finding a secret, tiny, abandon chapel in a chalk cliff near an avocado forrest and what happened there. Information about her poetry as a spiritual practice classes. Why silence always being with her. And, it closes with more poetry wonderful reading. --- I ask that you please support Andō at patreon.com/theunsui as she relies totally on donations to support herself. If you feel inclined to help out Spark My Muse along with a contribution to defray my program expenses, it is much appreciated as well.
