Tall Poppy Talk - Podcast tekijän mukaan Grace Lewis

"Actually money is good to talk about, and probably even more importantly, not having money and not being able to do stuff, is even better to talk about because that's how we start to prioritize" - Rupert Carlyon, Founder + Managing Director of Kōura Wealth, Aotearoa NZ. Rupert is an entrepreneur, a businessman, a career financial expert, outdoorsman, a Dad, and a change-maker. Working in financial service roles his entire career, Rupert has global experience after a lengthy stint based in London at global investment bank UBS. Upon his return to New Zealand in 2014, Rupert was inspired to make a big difference after seeing the stagnant state of options avaliable for Kiwi's retirement saving schemes. Utilizing his global mindset, he looked internationally, at companies and technologies that were doing retirement investing well. Kōura Wealth is the result of his efforts, all with the motivation to give kiwis access to the technology and products to help them achieve their financial goals. Since launching in 2019, the business has over 4,600 members, with over $180 million Funds Under Management. During this episode we talk finances, saving schemes, parenting, social mindsets about 'real' money, and the journey of building Kōura Wealth.
