Last week, Richard Trumka Jr., a commissioner on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, said his agency was considering a ban on gas stoves amid rising concerns about harmful indoor air pollutants. “This is a hidden hazard,” Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg. "Any option is on the table.
