Today's guest and I have a lot in common, we both went to college for musical theater, we both acted in the upcoming Billy Crystal/Tiffany Haddish movie Here Today, he's performed in Broadway's Beetlejuice, School of Rock, Matilda, Big Fish, Wicked and Glory Days, and I've seen several of those shows. We talked growing up in Saratoga, going to a Jesuit prep school while being Jewish, getting death threats on instagram, and how Alex ends confrontations with people who unapologetically bump into him on the street (a steely "lead with compassion.")
