In this episode, Erick sat down with Melissa Stangl and Sylvia Bringas from Soltara Healing Center to riff about the power of peak experiences, how they demand you to break your old stories, and the process of integration. They also dive into how we can balance our relationship with social media and use it as a tool for expansion. On that note, Melissa and Sylvia have co-founded an incredible online community called The Maloca. You can learn more about The Maloca below.   Melissa Stangl is the Co-Founder and COO of Soltara Healing Center and the Co-Founder of The Maloca. After spending years working in scientific labs and corporate offices, Melissa realized the healing and transformative potential of working responsibly with psychedelics and plant medicine. In 2015, she consciously chose to leave Corporate America and moved to live and work in the Amazon jungle. Melissa has since used her background in engineering, science, and management to help advance the plant medicine and psychedelic movements – first by helping run a top-rated ayahuasca center in Peru, and now as Founding Partner and COO for Soltara Healing Center, a Shipibo-led ayahuasca center in Costa Rica, with a focus on integration.   Sylvia Bringas is the Co-Founder of The Maloca. She is also a trauma-informed and initiated spiritual worker helping highly sensitive people navigate the complexities of a neurotypical world. She helps individuals reclaim their sensitivities to re-mystify their lives and live vitally alive–mind, body, and spirit. Her interests, connection, and natural aptitude in nature, art, and myths captivated her at a young age. They imprinted within her perception and felt understanding that there is more to life than what we perceive with our mind. And she is dedicated to using these skills to facilitate healing for all those courageously walking the path   Instagram | @sylviabringas_   As always, this episode is brought to you by my newsletter and my journaling course   Check out The Dharma Journal   Soltara Healing Center Website: https://soltara.co Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/soltarahealingcenter/   The Maloca Community Platform Website: https://themaloca.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the.maloca/   More details and a detailed description of the Maloca are below   Soltara Healing Center Website: https://soltara.co Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/soltarahealingcenter/   The Maloca Community Platform Website: https://themaloca.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the.maloca/     Books Mentioned in the Intro: The Sandman - Neil Gaiman American Gods - Neil Gaiman   Connect with Erick Godsey: Website | https://www.erickgodsey.com/ Instagram |@erickgodsey Twitter | @ErickGodsey LinkTree | https://linktr.ee/ErickGodsey     Sign up for my weekly Newsletter | https://www.erickgodsey.com/     Subscribe to The Myths That Make Us: Itunes | https://apple.co/2Je6RG4 Stitcher | https://bit.ly/2TbivRD Spotify | https://spoti.fi/2XZMakj     Meet us in The Maloca!   The Maloca is an inclusive community gathering space centered around you.
