While too many entrepreneurs and people in general are spending too much time working on a dead-end job, or a business model that is clearly not catching on, a lot of people also won’t stick things out long enough to actually find the success that they’re looking for. In this episode I’m talking about a conversation I recently had with Steve Ballmer about how to know whether a project is worth sticking out for the long run, or whether you need to give it up and work on something else. When “stickiness” (Steve Ballmer’s term) is required, it’s important that that stickiness and dedication to a clear vision is accompanied by a large amount of creativity. Because if you’re thinking about giving up on something, it probably means that exactly what you’re doing right now isn’t the best way to approach it.
