Are you ready to start your own podcast?! Several months ago I invited a limited number of therapists to take part in my first podcasting workshop... How To Start A Podcast For Mental Health Care Workers. mentalhealthpodcasters.com And if I do say so myself, it was a hit! I got to share everything I've learned over these last few years about creating a podcast--in the mental health field!--that receives thousands of downloads per month and which is the primary driver of my income. Yep, because of the podcast, I've been able to replace the salary I was making from a full time job at a county clinic in the Bay Area. In addition, it's been an incredible way to meet amazing therapists from all over the world, learn how others are working in the trauma field, and it's been a fantastic and never-ending source of inspiration for myself! So who is this workshop for? Therapists of all kinds MFTs Social Workers Counselors Psychologists Survivors Advocates Coaches  If you're a mental health professional and/or coach or advocate and excited to get your voice out there, or market your business, then this is for you. What will the workshop consist of? I am going to walk you through getting your podcast up and running! You might like to know that over these last few years, as someone in the health care field, who started out knowing nothing about podcasting, I've been able to grow The Trauma Therapist | Podcast to one that receives about 150K downloads per month! That puts the podcast in the top 5% of all podcasts. Pretty crazy. And, as you may know, I've been able to attract a breadth of interesting guests, from a variety of backgrounds. As well as attract--and keep--sponsors! Very cool indeed. What it is & Key Topics: In this live, 4-module, Zoom video workshop (with each module lasting approximately one hour), I'll share with you everything I've learned about creating a successful podcast: How to choose your topic The unique challenges and benefits of being a health care worker in this field The tech equipment I use (including the computer, the mic, the mic stand, ear buds etc.) How to acquire hosting for your podcast (an online platform where you store and then distribute your podcast and which provides you with an RSS feed) How I decide upon episode topics The different ways I monetize How I secure guests The email templates I use to reach out to guests (and then to follow up) The scheduling software I use What I've learned about acquiring sponsors, losing sponsors, and keeping sponsors And much more.  Go to: mentalhealthpodcasters.com
