On the evening of the 11th September 1971, Robert Rowlands was in his fifth floor flat on Wimpole Street Central London. He had been having a relaxed evening using his ham radio. It was late around 11:15pm on a Saturday evening when he was surprised hear that he had picked up something on one of the frequencies. He listened hard to the transmissions and after a short time realised what he was actually listening to. He was listening to people discussing a robbery that was about to take place at a bank. This bank robbery would become one of the most infamous in British history. Important information provided by: Punt Pi Series 7 episode 2 The Baker Street RobberyDocumentary about the heist:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71MWyQw1VNkhttps://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/bank-job-that-opened-the-door-on-a-royal-293740https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2007/mar/11/film.ukcrimehttps://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/hatton-garden-ringleader-brian-reader-also-masterminded-lloyds-baker-street-heist-45-years-ago-a6814956.htmlhttps://theunredacted.com/the-baker-street-robbery-vault-of-secrets/https://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/3671166/Revisiting-the-riddle-of-Baker-Street.htmlFollow us on social media: Twitter- @theunseenpodFacebook- The Unseen PodcastInstagram - TheUnseenPodWebsite www.TheUnseenPodcast.com
