Gilligan’s Island’s Dawn Wells and the Appeal of Mary Ann

TVC 462.4: Ed welcomes back Dawn Wells, the actress known around the world as Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island. The Hollywood Museum will honor Dawn Wells and Gilligan’s Island with a new lobby exhibit that will commemorate the fifty-fifth anniversary of the premiere of Gilligan’s Island. The exhibit will become available to the public on Thursday, Sept. 26 and will include the iconic gingham dress and blue short shorts that Dawn wore when she played Mary Ann, plus other Gilligan’s memorabilia. Dawn’s book What Would Mary Ann Do? A Guide to Life has been re-issued and is now available through Bear Manor Media.
