In this podcast we talk about the third song on “Name of the Black. If you lived much of your life as a people pleaser, you know that’s hard. I tried to get approval of those who I believed were important. Funny thing is you can never do enough to be ok. There will always be a reason you’re inadequate. You and you alone are responsible for the life you create. No one can do it for you, and you would hate it if they did. You are a divine being with the power to create. You have gifts and a purpose for your existence on earth. Those who discourage you – ignore them. The chorus of this song is the answer I gave to those who fought against me. “Go ahead and hate me.” You only live with yourself in the end.
