Episode 234 - Dorian Gray

In this episode, we discuss the story of Dorian Gray. A rich man who had a portrait of himself in his mansion. He lived an extravagant lifestyle, but the consequences showed up on the portrait. Do we somehow think that the consequences of our actions will show up somewhere else? They don’t, but sometimes we have the story that it doesn’t matter if we do this or that. Your heart and body are an exact record of all your choices, just like in the story, and whatever you or I do, it has a direct reflection on our character and body. It’s easy to see when someone gets sick from smoking or drinking, but it is true of every choice we make. It is also true of every good thing we choose.
