Episode 262 - God Is Forgiving

In this episode, we talk about justice and injustice. There is so much unfairness, unkindness, and cruelty in the world. Some use that fact to say “There is no God.” Instead, it seems that God allows us to act with our own agency and choice and then holds us accountable for our choices. That used to scare me because I made so many choices that were intentionally wrong. No accidents, but serious mistakes and sometimes intentional wrong. How could I ever hope for change or fixing things? Forgiveness is not “excusing” bad behavior with a simple “it's ok.” Forgiveness is a process where there is a divine power to bring things that were painful and wrong back to wholeness. What a miracle.
