Episode 280 - A Choice

In this episode, we talk about the first element of love. Love is a choice. It is not a feeling. The feeling that we have when we love someone comes because we are making the choices associated with love. Love is an act of pure agency, that God-given right to choose who and what we are. When we were created, there are three things we were given. The first is identity—the beingness of an individual. Second is agency or choice—the opportunity to direct the course of our thinking and actions. Thirdly, we were given dominion. That is simply the power to cause things to happen outside of us. If I pick something up, it stays in my hand. If I write a book, it is created. These three things are key.
